Rules for Admission in B.Com (H & G) & B.A. (H & G) courses for Academic year 2019-2020:


* After reading all the admission criterias you have to download the application

   challan and take a print out of that challan after that you have to pay the

   application fee in the bank mentioned on the challan.The bank will provide you  

   an unique transaction Id/challan no, you have to then enter that challan no in 

   the application form.

  

*Admission Form fill-up last date 8th june,2019 till 12 AM.



* 1st merit list will be publish on 10th June 2019 after 2 PM and admission will be starting on and from 12th June to 15th

  2019. Admission fees have to pay only by online payment method.

of submission of admission fees will be 30/06/2019.

Admission to the 3-year semester-wise degree course (B.A. Hon’s / Gen) – under CBSE (choices based credit system) 2019

B.A. (Bengali hons.)

1. Students applying for Honours / General courses must make sure that they have secured pass marks in all the subjects in their previous examinations in 2017 and onwards.

2. Candidates must have pass marks in English having full marks not less than 100 in (10+2) level of examination.

3. Marks in compulsory Environmental science / Environmental Education / Environmental studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks in (10+2). If any of the above mentioned subjects is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for purpose of determining the aggregate marks.

4. For aggregate marks best of 4 marks in 10+2 level will be considered.

5. Candidates applying for B. A. Bengali Honours course must have secured 55% marks in Bengali or 50% marks in Bengali and 45% marks in aggregate in 10+2.

6. B. A. Hon’s students have to study the chosen Honours subjects. Apart from that, they have to choose any two Generic subjects from the given options. Among these two generic subjects, they have two opt one subject for odd semesters (1, 3) and another subject for even semester (2, 4).

7. All B. A. Hon’s and General Students have to study AECC 1(any one subject from English /Bengali / Hindi / Urdu) in the 1st semester.

8. AECC 2 (compulsory Environmental study) will be studied in semester 2 by both Hon’s & Gen Students.

9. In the Bengali Hon’s the Generic Subjects are; (choose any two) Education, History and Political Science.

B.A. (English hons.)

If any of the above mentioned subjects is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for purpose of determining the aggregate marks.
